Welcome
The Crescent City Model Railroad Club (CCMRC) is home to one of the largest HO scale layouts in the Gulf South. We are located in Metairie, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans (aka the Crescent City). We model a fictitious railroad, called the Crescent Lines, whose mainlines carry freight and passengers to and from the beautiful south.
CCMRC SUSTAINS ROOF DAMAGE FROM IDA, NEEDS HELP FUNDING A NEW ROOF
The CCMRC club building sustained serious roof damage during Hurricane Ida when a neighbors roof came off of his home and blew over our building causing multiple holes in our roof. We are currently seeking funds to help us with the repairs and have created a Go Fund Me Page to help raise those funds. Any donations that we can get will help replace our roof. New McNally Yard is Under Construction
The new McNally yard is finally under construction. Since the completion of the Natchez Industrial District a few months ago, construction on the new McNally yard has commenced and is making great progress. We hope to have a few pictures available to post here of the Natchez District and progress on New McNally yard soon.
Covid-19 puts Open House Shows on Hold for 2020
With the continuing Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic still going on it looks like the CCMRC will not be able to host any open house shows in 2020. Please check our Facebook page for the most up to the minute news in case anything changes or we are able to host any open house shows.
